Ira Stasi, Golf Professional
Ira Stasi joins the Atkins Golf Club team as a PGA Member and a 2022 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. A native of Evansville, Indiana, he has compiled experience over the past 5 seasons at several renowned facilities across the Midwest including Evansville Country Club in Indiana, Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond, Kentucky, Algonquin Golf Club in St. Louis, MO, and Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana – one of America’s Top 50 golf courses. After training under experienced PGA Professionals and instructors, he has developed a great passion for playing and teaching the game. He is continually working to improve his ability to do both. He has developed a teaching philosophy that is focused on a holistic approach to improving a student’s game. The aspects of full-swing, short game, course management, mental game, and health/fitness must all be utilized to improve the overall golf game. Ira will work with all students to develop the best approach to improving their game and meeting their individual goals.
Anthony Barrett, Associate Golf Professional
Anthony Barrett, a PGA Member hailing from Effingham, Illinois, graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2017. With a decade of immersion in the golf industry, Anthony has traversed numerous esteemed courses nationwide, including Effingham Country Club in Illinois, St. Louis Country Club, Wintergreen Resort in Nellysford, Virginia, French Lick Resort in Indiana, Champaign Country Club, and Charleston Country Club in Illinois. Throughout his tenure in golf, Anthony has honed his focus on enhancing the playing abilities of those around him as well as his own. He harbors a relentless pursuit of improvement, believing that meticulous attention to detail is paramount in perfecting the golf swing. In his philosophy, there’s always room for refinement, and he remains dedicated to helping players elevate their game in any way they desire.
